Sonal was born in Hong Kong, grew up in the UAE, and trained as a print journalist in the US. She is interesting, intelligent and quick-witted. And this is probably where she would like me to end her bio. However, there is another side to Sonal which can only be described as a ‘massive nerd’. It’s hard to imagine anyone else at Dubai Eye getting so excited over astrophysics and sociology. Additionally, if you ever meet Sonal in person, ask her to rap Eminem’s Lose Yourself to you – her inability is only matched by her persistence as she’ll incredibly go through the whole song managing to get every single word wrong.
