UAE thrash Indonesia in World Cup qualifier

The UAE have easily defeated Indonesia in the second round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Ali Mabkhout scored a hat-trick to help the Emirates seal a convincing 5-0 victory at Dubai’s Al Maktoum Stadium on Thursday night.

Khalil Al Hammadi and Tariq Hassan Ali Tarik also found the back of the net in the victory.

They’re now sitting pretty on top of their group following a 2-1 win in the last round against Malaysia.
