UAE Team Emirates dominate Stage 2 of UAE Tour

UAE Team Emirates dominated Stage 2 of the UAE Tour with a 1-2-3 finish at Abu Dhabi's Al Hudayriyat Island.

American Brandon McNulty won the 12.1 km time trial, beating teammates Jay Vine and Mikkel Bjerg.

He powered to a time of 13:27, while Vine finished 2 seconds slower and Bjerg completed the podium sweep at 4 seconds slower.

McNulty now leads the race overall, taking over from Stage 1 winner Tim Merlier.

The UAE Tour continues Wednesday with the 176 km Stage 3 featuring a decisive summit finish from Al Marjan Island to Jebel Jais.
