Thiem upsets Federer at Indian Wells

Dominic Thiem has beaten Roger Federer in the finals of the BNP Paribas Open.

The seventh seed from Austria came from behind to win in three sets.

It ends Federer's bid for a record sixth title at Indian Wells.

Meanwhile, in the women's tournament, it was Canada's Bianca Andreescu who beat Angelique Kerber to win the title.
