T20 World Cup could be moved to early 2021: McCullum

This year's Twenty20 World Cup could be moved to early 2021, opening up a window for the Indian Premier League (IPL).

That's according to former New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum, who believes hosting a 16-nation event in Australia could be risky amid the coronavirus pandemic.

He added that if the World Cup is indeed postponed, then the window can be used for the IPL.

The ICC's Chief Executives Committee (CEC) is set to meet virtually on Thursday to discuss the contingency planning for all ICC global events, including the T20 World Cup.
