Pakistan pressures England into Day 4 of Dubai Test

NULL

Pakistan continue to dominate going into the fourth day of their second Test against England in Dubai. Pakistan bowled out England for 242, sparing just 36 runs in the final seven overs, before reaching 222-3 in their second innings on a strong third day. England got off to a bad start with Joe Root caught out for 88, who admitted Pakistan's fast bowling was too much to handle. “Fair play to Pakistan. They put us under a lot of pressure by bowling consistently and they got the ball to reverse at good speeds and we were not able to handle that," he said. Wahab Riaz brought his best bowling attack, taking 3-15 in a fierce spell of nine overs. At the crease, there were strong showings from Misbah ul-Haq at 87 and Younus Khan at 71, which took him to a new milestone, by becoming the first Pakistani batsman to hit 9,000 Test runs. England are now 358 runs behind Pakistan and need to achieve the highest-ever fourth innings chase at Dubai.
