Maxwell takes break from cricket to deal with mental health issues

Cricketer Glenn Maxwell has announced that he is taking a break from cricket in order to deal with mental health issues.

The Australian all-rounder played in the first two T20 Internationals in his side's ongoing series against Sri Lanka.

The head of Australia's national teams, Ben Oliver, said that the well-being of all players and staff is paramount.

"Glenn has our full support," Oliver said.

"He's a special player and an important part of the Australian cricket family,"
