India clean sweep Test series against West Indies

India won the second Test against West Indies by 257 runs to complete a sweep of the two-match series.

Chasing a near-impossible victory target of 468, the hosts were dismissed for 210 in their second innings at Kingston.

Shamarh Brooks top-scored with 50, while Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami took three wickets each for India.

Indian middle-order batsman Hanuma Vihari was declared man of the match for his scores of 111 and 53.

The victory was Virat Kohli’s 28th in Tests, making him the most successful Indian captain in the format.

The win also India on the top of the ICC World Test Championship points table.
