Hong Kong gets first win in T20 World Cup qualifier

Hong Kong beat Jersey by eight runs in the Twenty20 World Cup qualifier, to register their first win of the tournament.

Defending a modest score of 144-7 in Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong restricted their opponents to 136 for 6.

Elsewhere, Canada won their third consecutive match in Group B, beating Ireland by 10 runs, while Oman crushed Nigeria by seven wickets.

In the games played in Dubai, Namibia defeated Bermuda by six wickets and Kenya registered a seven-wicket win over Singapore.
