Garcia issues statement on Saudi disqualification

KARIM SAHIB / AFP

Sergio Garcia has apologised once again for the sequence of events that led to his disqualification from the Saudi International.

The 2017 Omega Dubai Desert classic winner was expelled from the tournament for damaging greens during his third round.

In a statement, the Spaniard said what happened is not an example he wants to set.

He also said the incident does not truly reflect who he is.
