Football: Gareth Barry says Costa didn’t bite him

Everton's US goalkeeper Tim Howard (R) and teammate English midfielder Gareth Barry react on February 19, 2015 after a UEFA Europa League football match round of 32, first leg between BCS Young-Boys and Everton FC in Bern.

Everton midfielder Gareth Barry says Chelsea forward Diego Costa did not bite him on the neck during their Emirates FA Cup clash yesterday. Costa was given a second yellow card after the incident as Chelsea were beaten 2-0 at Goodison Park. The bizarre scene shows replays of the Spanish striker opening his mouth and pushing his face into Barry’s neck. Costa also denies biting his opponent.
