Dubai special needs boy, youngest marathon competitor

The Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon will see its youngest ever competitor this weekend. 12-year-old Rio Watson, who was born with special needs, will take part in the event in an adapted wheelchair pushed by his father Nick. The pair have become popular competitors, taking part in triathlons and the Dubai desert run raising awareness for special needs children. Nick Watson says this marathon is longer than he’s used to, but it’s all for a good cause.
