The Austrian Grand Prix has secured government approval to host the F1 season-openers in July.

According to reports, the races, scheduled for July 5 and 12, will take place behind closed doors in line with the health and safety guidelines to combat the spread of COVID-19.

Managing director Ross Brawn has said that all Formula 1 personnel will be tested for SARS-CoV-2 and presented a health certificate before they can enter Austria.

A revised calendar for this season is being put together after the pandemic forced F1 bosses to cancel a number of races across the world.
