The AFC Champions League holders will now face European giants Chelsea in the semifinals on Wednesday night.

The Chelsea squad have been spotted training in the UAE capital but travelled without head coach Thomas Tuchel who tested positive for COVID-19. Tuchel, who led Chelsea to winning the 2021 Champions League, should be able to return for the final, or the third-place match, on Saturday.

Al Jazira will now go up against Monterrey in the fifth-place match.

Al Hilal remain unbeaten against Al Jazira and are pushing to become the first Asian club to win the tournament.
