With schools set to reopen for the new academic year, students in the UAE captial can now head to Yas Mall to get their Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 jabs.

An exclusive pop-up vaccination centre for children aged 12 and above has opened in the mall.

Organised by Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) in collaboration with the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Public Health Center, Mubadala Health and Yas Mall, the pop-up vaccination centre will be open until August 7, between 12 noon and 8:00 pm, and again from August 24 for five days.

The centre is in line with recent protocols issued by the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee, which mandates all students aged 16 and above to be fully vaccinated before they return to face-to-face learning or access school premises.

Students aged 12 years and above opting to return to the classrooms are also encouraged to take their COVID-19 jabs.
