UAE to establish field hospital in Chad for Sudanese refugees

The UAE is building a field hospital in Chad to support Sudanese refugees.

The facility is being established in the city of Amdjarass under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation and the Emirates Red Crescent Authority have contributed to the initiative.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the UAE's latest initiative aims to ease the suffering of Sudanese nationals affected by the conflict in Sudan.

It also aims to support Chad in dealing with the influx of Sudanese refugees.
