WAM

The UAE has strongly condemned the terror attacks in Western Niger that left dozens of innocent civilians dead and wounded.

The attack took place in an area close to the country's border with Mali.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAC) reaffirmed the UAE's rejection of all forms of criminal acts that aim to destabilise the security of the region.

The ministry also expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
