During a call with the Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Sunday, Sheikh Mohamed reiterated the UAE's condemnation of all forms of violence and terrorism and stressed the need for international cooperation to combat terrorism in all its forms.

The President expressed his wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured in the explosion and wished Turkey and its people continued security, stability and peace.

On Sunday, two attackers detonated a bomb in front of Turkish government buildings in Ankara, leaving both of them dead and two police officers wounded.
