As many as 50,000 school kits put together by Dubai Cares' volunteers have reached Senegal and Tanzania.

More than 2,000 people worked over four days last Ramadan as part of Volunteer Emirates to help those less fortunate.

The school kits have been handed to around 700 primary schools in Senegal's Kaolack region, and 27 primary schools on the islands of Unguja and Pemba in Zanzibar.
