UAE, Saudi Arabia provide $70 million to support Yemeni teachers

The UAE and Saudi Arabia are helping settle the pending salaries of teachers in Yemen.

They are providing more than AED 257 million ($70 million) in financial support, in partnership with the UNICEF.

The funds will benefit around 137,000 teaching staff in various provinces.

It will ensure that millions of Yemeni children complete their studies in their own country.
