UAE rises into the top ten in World Competitiveness Ranking

The UAE has secured seventh place in the IMD World Competitiveness Ranking, rising three places in the latest survey.

Produced by the International Institute for Management Development in Switzerland it ranks the competitive strength of 67 countries.

The UAE also featured among the top ten internationally in more than 90 separate indicators.

Singapore, Switzerland and Denmark took the top three spots, with Ireland and Hong Kong rounding out the top five. 

In posting about the achievement, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, has thanked all those who have contributed their efforts to the UAE's latest success the IMD World Competitiveness Ranking.

His Highness posted his appreciation to all the teams in governmental, economic and development sectors who helped further the UAE's progress.
