UAE President congratulates Bahrain on National Day

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated Bahrain on their National Day, highlighting the unity shared between both countries. 

"I extend my sincere best wishes and congratulations to my brother King Hamad bin Isa and the people of Bahrain on the occasion of their country’s National Day," the President said on social media platform X.

"The UAE and Bahrain share a deep bond of friendship, and we remain united by our vision for the ongoing development of our nations, our peoples and the region," he added. 
 
Well-wishes from other UAE officials also poured in.
 
"We congratulate my brother, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the brotherly people of Bahrain on their 53rd glorious National Day.. and all congratulations on the 25th anniversary of the King’s accession to the throne..May God continue to bestow His blessings upon you," His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said. 
 
Non-oil trade between the two countries reaching AED15.3 billion during the first half of 2024, a 26 percent increase compared to the same period in 2023.
 

Since 1974, the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development has been playing a significant role in supporting Bahrain's economic growth and social progress.

The Fund has substantially contributed to the development of infrastructure and sustainable development projects in Bahrain by financing 33 development projects worth up to AED23 billion, including housing, energy, and transportation projects.
