UAE leaders wish students success as new school year starts

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has wished students and teachers a successful start to the academic year, as the new school year begins.

In a post on X, His Highness said: "I extend my best wishes for a successful academic year to all students, teachers and parents. Together, you continue to ensure that educational excellence is an investment in our nation's future and a foundation for developing lifelong learners in and out of school."

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also posted a message on the social media site to wish pupils good luck for the new school year. 

The UAE's education sector is bigger than ever this year with a number of new schools opening across the nation to accommodate over one million students and academic professionals heading back for the new term.
