UAE leaders condole death of former Indian president Pranab Mukherjee

UAE leaders have been sending their condolences to India's President Ram Nath Kovind following the death of the former Indian President Pranab Mukerjee.

The veteran politician died on Monday at the age of 84.

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan sent a message of condolence to Kovind expressing his sympathies.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, sent similar messages to the Indian President and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
