UAE foreign minister, Blinken discuss regional developments

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a phone conversation with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to discuss regional issues of shared concern.

They reviewed the latest developments in the Middle East, with a particular focus on the ongoing situation in Gaza and its humanitarian impact.

The two diplomats emphasized the need to intensify efforts toward achieving a ceasefire and ensuring the protection of civilians.

The phone call also covered recent developments in Lebanon, as well as the situation in Sudan and its humanitarian repercussions.
