UAE, EU discuss east African humanitarian situation

Assistant Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Lana Nusseibeh met with Dr. Annette Weber, EU Special Representative to the Horn of Africa, to discuss efforts for stability and security in the region. 

During a meeting on Tuesday, they both underscored the urgency of the humanitarian situation in Sudan and the need for all sides to commit to a return to the political process.

Additionally, they also explored ways to enhance UAE-EU bilateral relations.
