The UAE Consulate in Hong Kong has suspended services indefinitely amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Operations were initially suspended for a week but they have now been closed until further notice.

The move came after the Hong Kong government decided to extend the closure of most of its offices to control the spread of the virus.

The consulate has advised UAE citizens in the territory to exercise caution and contact its helplines in case of emergency.
