UAE celebrates Olympic day ahead of this year's event

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and President of the National Olympic Committee (NOC), reaffirmed the UAE's unwavering dedication to the Olympic Movement.

The occasion was marked by a spectacular display on the iconic Burj Khalifa, where the International Olympic Committee's emblem and the logo for the upcoming Paris Olympics lit up the skyscraper. 

Sheikh Ahmed expressed pride in the UAE NOC's active involvement in promoting movement, health, and fitness through such initiatives, especially in the lead-up to the Paris Games.

Highlighting the significance of Olympic Day, celebrated annually in collaboration with National Olympic Committees worldwide, Sheikh Ahmed articulated that sportsmanship, fair play, and unity are at the heart of the Olympic spirit.
