UAE approves AED 5.5 billion housing package for citizens

Housing packages worth AED 5.5 billion have been announced for thousands of UAE nationals in Abu Dhabi.

They have been approved by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, following the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

As many as 5,500 Emiratis are set to benefit from the grant, which includes a mix of loans, houses and residential plots.

The initiative, which coincides with Eid Al Fitr, aims to ensure social stability and enhance the living standards of citizens.

It’s part of Abu Dhabi’s development programme called ‘Ghadan 21’.
