The UAE government has announced flexible working hours for mothers whose kids go to nurseries.

Women working in ministries and other federal entities can arrive two hours late or leave two hours early to take care of their children.

Nurseries and kindergartens across the country have currently suspended classes as a precautionary measure over COVID-19.

According to a circular issued by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), the flexible working hours will be called off once nurseries are reopened.

The authority has urged all departments to commit to the decision as long as it does not affect the workflow.
