His influence extended beyond the kitchen, as he gained fame through his appearances on MasterChef Australia and his award-winning cookbooks.

The long-term Dubai resident's passion for Arabic dishes resonated with fans and food enthusiasts alike.

Following the announcement of the Michelin-star rated chef's passing on social media, tributes from co-stars, fans and colleagues have flooded in, reflecting the impact he had on the culinary community and beyond.
