Three days of mourning as Sharjah Ruler's son passes away

The son of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has passed away.

According to national news agency WAM, Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi died in the UK on Monday.

Sharjah has declared three days of mourning, during which UAE flags will be flown at half-mast beginning with the arrival of the body and the funeral prayer.

The Ruler’s Court has expressed its deepest condolences to the Ruler of Sharjah, the family of the deceased and members of Al Qasimi family.
