Taxi driver honoured for returning $21,000 in cash

Dubai Police thanked Shafafet Khan Abdulrashid for his honesty and awarded him a certificate of appreciation.

Brigadier Saeed Hamad bin Sulaiman Al Malek, Director of Al Rashidiya police station, praised the Pakistani driver after he handed in the cash, a mobile phone, and some passports left behind by a Danish family in the back of his taxi.

Brigadier Al Malek also met with the family who thanked Dubai Police for their quick response and the honest taxi driver for returning their valuables.
