Sultan Al Neyadi talks about love for space somersaults in 'Call from Space'

Over 1,000 space enthusiasts listened to Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi share his experiences from the International Space Station during his latest edition of 'A Call from Space'.

Organised by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC), the live interactive discussion was held at the Higher Colleges of Technology - Ras Al Khaimah Women’s Campus.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, who was also in attendance, thanked Al Neyadi for his steadfast support.

Al Neyadi also answered questions about transporting water in space, monitoring climate change and his return to Earth. 

Younger audience members also asked if there were robots in space, and which activity Al Neyadi found the most enjoyable on the ISS, to which he replied that he loved to do somersaults.

On Wednesday, Al Neyadi, who is on a six month mission onboard the ISS, shared photos on social media showing cyclone Biparjoy forming in the Arabian Sea.
