Study says employers don’t go above and beyond for pregnant employees

Employers don’t go above and beyond minimum requirements when it comes to maternity leave for their employees. This is just one of the results from the 2015 Clyde & Co Middle East workplace study. The report reveals that even though almost all employers offer paid maternity leave in accordance with labour law requirements, only 3% offer six months partly paid maternity leave, and a mere 1% offer six months paid maternity leave. Clyde & Co Employment Partner Rebecca Ford explains what surprised her most about the results on maternity leave.
