Roadwork leading to Dubai Hills Mall halfway complete

Construction on the network of bridges and roads leading to Dubai Hills Mall is halfway done.

The project, which is at the junction of Umm Suqeim Street and Al Khail Road, encompasses the construction of 12 bridges spanning close to four kilometres.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) says it's expected to be completed in the first half of 2020.

The roadworks are being done in coordination with Emaar Properties at a cost of AED 780 million.

Its main objective is to ensure the smooth flow of traffic from and to Dubai Hills Mall as well as on Umm Suqeim Street and Al Khail Road.
