RAK Ruler grants AED 9 million to people affected by rain

WAM

A total of AED 9 million will be handed out in compensation to people in Ras Al Khaimah who have been affected by the heavy rains earlier this month.

It will help support those whose homes and properties were damaged.

The move follows the directives of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.

He had formed a special committee for carrying out field works and assessing the extent of the damage.
