Visitors over 18 years of age can present paper or digital vaccination records to enter the Expo 2020 Dubai site, when it officially opens its doors on October 1.

Speaking exclusively to Dubai Eye's 103.8's Business Breakfast on Thursday, Senior Vice President of Expo 2020 Dubai, Sconaid Mcgeachin, added that international visitors inoculated with a vaccine approved by their national governments can also present their records digitally or via printouts.

Meanwhile, unvaccinated visitors must present a negative PCR test result no older than 72 hours to gain access.

The new entry guidelines, she elaborated, have been introduced to make visiting the Expo 2020 site safe and secure.

Mcgeachin added that onsite free PCR testing is available for unvaccinated visitors, with results presented in four hours.

Expo 2020 ticketholder will also be eligible for free testing on select locations, which will be revealed soon.

Senior citizens over the age of 60 and those under 18 will enjoy free access to the Expo 2020 site and will be subject to the same vaccination and testing requirements.

Tickets to Expo 2020 can be purchased online.
