President of Israel arrives in UAE

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has received President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, in Abu Dhabi.

An official reception was held at the Qasr Al Watan, where Sheikh Mohamed escorted Herzog to the podium.

The national anthems of the two countries were played, followed by a 21-gun salute.

Herzog, who is accompanied by First Lady Michal Herzog, was welcomed by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, at the presidential terminal.
