Over 400 baby turtles have hatched on the shores of Dubai.

The expecting Hawksbill turtle mothers arrived earlier this year at the emirate's Al Taweelah beach for their annual nesting season.

They were monitored by the sustainability team at Emirates Global Aluminium, who carry-out conservation efforts for the species.

After they hatched, the baby turtles made their way back home to the sea.

Nearly 100 endangered Hawksbill turtles have laid their eggs at the shoreline since 2011 with almost 7,000 starting their lives at Al Taweelah beach.
