Over 2,000 new parking spaces come up in Al Ain

As many as 2,175 additional paid parking spaces have been created in two areas of Al Ain City.

The new slots have come up across five different sectors of Al Mutaredh and Al Muwaiji areas.

They will be activated on Sunday, August 22.

The changes will come into effect in Al Jazaa sector (55 spaces), Hai Al Jabal sector (388), Uqdat Al Muwaiji sector (769), Oud Al Hosn sector (846) and Al Muwaiji Fort sector (117).

According to the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC), the move is aimed at resolving parking issues and maintaining the flow of traffic.

It has reminded motorists to follow the parking regulations and not to park vehicles in prohibited areas.
