No pay cuts for teachers in Sharjah

Teachers in Sharjah won't face any pay cuts until the end of this academic year.

That’s according to the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), which has already rejected requests of several institutions to slash salaries due to the "current situation" related to COVID-19.

Those who’ve already done so have been ordered to return the amount to their teachers within five working days.

Educational institutions that don’t comply with the directive will be held accountable.
