No injuries after car goes up in flames in Dubai

Dubai authorities were quick on the scene after a car burst into flames on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road on Tuesday night.

Teams from Dubai Civil Defence rushed to the site near Dubai International City after being alerted about the incident at 7:22 pm.

Firefighters from Rashidiya Centre were also called in after the fire spread to a patch of greenery on the roadside.

It took the team 18 minutes to bring the situation under control.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
