No guidelines yet for reopening nurseries in the UAE

Nurseries and early learning centers in the UAE still have not received a timeline as to when and how they can resume their services.

This comes after some of the UAE's biggest nursery operators spoke during a Zoom press conference on Monday.

They also revealed that around 10 per cent of nurseries in the country have shut, and the number may rise to 50 per cent in the coming few weeks as operations remain suspended at early learning centers.

Nurseries, schools and other sectors were closed in March due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

While schools have been given the green light to reopen in September and business activities have resumed in many parts of the country, the situation remains undecided for nurseries.
