Motorists will be banned from entering or exiting Abu Dhabi starting Tuesday, June 2, for a week.

According to Abu Dhabi’s Emergency and Crisis Committee for the COVID-19 Pandemic, this includes movement between the capital’s regions, which includes Al Ain and Al Dahfra.

They clarified that the new rule applies to all residents, including UAE nationals.

Permits will be made available to people working in vital sectors, patients with chronic diseases in-need of hospitalization and transporters of necessary goods.

Residents in each region will be allowed to move within their area in line with the National Disinfection Programme timings.
