Nearly 90 per cent of Dubai’s hotel establishments have so far received the 'DUBAI ASSURED' stamp for complying with the health and safety protocols to combat COVID-19.

Major shopping malls, family entertainment centres and retail outlets at traditional markets have also been awarded the seal, while others are currently going through the inspection process.

The compliance programme was launched just over a month ago to reassure guests about the safety measures in place at all tourist and resident touchpoints in Dubai.

The stamp is issued free of charge and is renewed every two weeks after further inspections by Dubai Tourism, the Department of Economic Development (Dubai Economy) and Dubai Municipality.
