More than 120,000 CCTV cameras have been installed in Ajman.

According to the Ajman Police force, this comes as part of a three-year initiative to increase surveillance across the city.

More than 3,000 buildings, including residential apartment blocks, shops and hotels, have been fitted with CCTV cameras since 2017.

Officials clarified that the 'To Protect You' initiative has also helped enhance security and safety in the city.
