Dubai is waiving the fees for various government services in a bid to support investors and lower the cost of doing business.

They include charges for medical training activities, schools awareness campaigns and entry fees to public libraries, among others.

More than 2,300 administrative fees imposed by 22 different government entities have been reviewed.

A legislation has also been introduced to limit the introduction of new administrative charges.

The decision was taken during a meeting of the Dubai Executive Council, chaired by Dubai’s Crown Prince, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
