Ministry of Interior searches for missing Moldovan citizen

WAM

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has announced it has received a report from the family of a Moldovan national named Zvi Kogan, stating that he has been missing and out of contact since last Thursday.

The Ministry confirmed specialised authorities immediately began search and investigation operations upon receiving the report.

Meanwhile, Majed Al Mansoori, Director of the Foreign Nationals Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), confirmed the Ministry is closely monitoring the case and is in close contact with his family to provide them with all means of necessary support.

Majed Al Mansoori also highlighted that the Ministry is in continuous contact with the Embassy of Moldova in Abu Dhabi.

He underscored the MoI is implementing extensive measures in its search for the missing person, reaffirming the relevant authorities in the UAE have initiated search operations.

Both urged the public to rely on official sources for information and to avoid rumours or misleading news aimed at causing confusion in the community.
