Masks made by inmates distributed to workers, healthcare facilities

Medical masks produced by inmates have been distributed to workers and healthcare facilities in Abu Dhabi.

As many as 30,000 masks were made as per international safety standards and specifications of the Ministry of Health and Prevention.

The initiative by the Punitive and Correctional Establishments (PCE) was launched to mark the 'Zayed Day for humanitarian Action' and to contribute to the ongoing efforts aimed at containing the spread of coronavirus.
